Spoilt
Spoilt
to be sung to dobbo's tune 'Loyal', because the value of modern human worth is sailing around the harbour on millions of dollars worth of boat,
sponsored by large multi-nationals,
while within NZ the rich/poor divide is growing faster than any commonwealth country. While more teenagers than any other 1st world
country decide that the
best way out is to kill themselves...and 'Loyalty' is expected, bah humbug!
I cant remember last time I said thank you
I keep my distance quite intentionally
I’m set for comfort, there's never enough
I will have an easier time being rich born.
And I love a spender, on cell phones we talk away
Keeping an eye on the latest style
And if it were different-I’m so glad it aint
Hop into my SUV love
Call me spoilt-I’ll call you spoilt too
We are spoilt- There's not enough for two
Call me spoilt- I’ll hold your credit true
And if things get soiled- we throw it away
The boats in mock battle, how weak and diffuse
P R allegiances lie in these times
When all of these hopes, shares bonds and schemes
Adds to the value of what a man spends
Soon we’ll be cashless, so lets hurry it up
Consumption here and now
Call me spoilt….
0 0 to all of my numbers-adding them up
while your factories shutting down
Call me spoilt…
We are spoilt- I haven’t spent nearly enough girl!
If I could change my heart right now
Maybe I’ll give my change to you
Call me spoilt…
Keep it that way now
